Sabbath, March 1, 2014

Sabbath School began with prayer and song service, and then the youth separated for their Sabbath School. For the adults, Brother Michael Brown continued the lesson study on  the sanctuary. The youth participated in a science demonstration about the disappearing coin, presented by Pastor Allen Stump (you may view below), and then Sister Tamela Franklin shared a nature nugget about our instincts. The lesson study continued on the life of Solomon, focusing on the temple he built for God. You may view the slides for the Sabbath School here.

Here is another promise concerning our children: “. . . thou are the helper of the fatherless” (Psalm 10:14).

The Worship Hour began with prayer and a hymn. For the first time we were able to video broadcast the worship service; however, a technical difficulty was encountered in recording the audio of the sermon, so it is not uploaded yet, but we hope to have it available soon. We expect to stream our Sabbath school and worship services each Sabbath morning and invite you to watch, as well as listen.

The sermon detailed and explained the old and the new covenants, and we encourage to view this presentation below. The slides for the sermon can be viewed here.
