Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through presentations and publications

We believe the gospel of Christ should be presented without fanfare and hypocrisy. We are dedicated to bringing the truth about the benevolent character of God to the world in the gift of his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Our goal is to prepare people for the second coming of Jesus and final events, such as the mark of the beast crisis, which will take place just prior to his return.

About Us

Smyrna Gospel Ministries was established in 1986 in the modest home of Brother Glen and Sister Anna Ford in southern West Virginia as a result of the need to share the gospel. The house soon outgrew its ability to meet the needs of the group, and a chapel was constructed.

Our Mission

Our work and mission is to carry out the gospel commission of Christ to help others understand the Bible and the God of the Bible better. We believe the gospel includes the teachings of the entire Bible, and the Bible is our only rule of faith. Our ministry is especially dedicated to the publishing phase of the gospel ministry. We write, print, and publish tracts, books, and the magazine Old Paths, which is mailed freely. The paper is dedicated to the propagation and restoration of the principles of truth that God gave the early Seventh-day Adventist pioneers. Duplication of it is not only permitted but strongly encouraged.

The Foundation of Our Faith

What is the real position of “Historic Adventism” on the incarnation, the atonement in heaven, and the Sonship of Jesus Christ? Does it really matter what we believe about these teachings? Is an understanding of these teachings relevant for Adventists today?

Oftentimes, our children are faced with a significant amount of peer pressure in school. It’s harder for young adults to talk to others about their problems.
